Director for the State of Maine Public Health Nursing (PHN) Program and Manager for the Women & Children's Preventive Health Program. Ms Morrissette has just passed a twenty-year milestone in her service to public health nursing, having begun as a field nurse delivering client services, moving through the organization to her recent role as consultant with the senior management team, and now Director. As a consultant Ms. Morrissette formulated and led an organizational development initiative called Moving to Excellence. She co-authored the first PHN annual report highlighting PHN performance and strategic direction. Ms. Morrissette led the development and implementation of immunization clinics and was successful in securing a Robert Wood Johnson Vote and Vaccinate demonstration grant to organize, promote, and implement vaccine clinics within easy reach of voting activities. Ms. Morrissette manages a grant program of over $1M which provides preventative Maternal & Child Health services.Ms. Morrissette is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the Maine Nurse Practitioners Association.
