Mary Kay Kempker-VanDriel, President of Value Health Partners, leads a health organization that started with 8 strategic partners. The 7 health system CEO's comprise the Value Health Partners board of directors. Our primary service area covers 61 of the 83 counties in Michigan.
Mary Kay is responsible for leading value maximization efforts which benchmark clinical quality measures and cost data. The organization pursues rapid cycle improvement efforts to move member scores to excellence. In addition, Mary Kay's legislative efforts in the state capitol, Lansing ,influence policy for the benefit of VHP's region. She aligns community benefit programs to increase the health of the Michigan community in an intentional manner with value driven programs.
VanDriel is a 2005 inductee in to the Robert Wood Johnson Nurse Executive Fellowship. She earned a B.S.N . in nursing from the University of Michigan, a M.S.N. from Grand Valley State University, a Masters in Management from Aquinas College and an Ed. D. in educational leadership from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich.
