Barbara Wadsworth is the Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of Main Line Health. She is master’s prepared nurse, and she is certified as a Nurse Executive, Advanced. Barbara has more than 26 years of experience in nursing and has held a variety of leadership and management positions in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Barbara recently completed the Robert Wood Johnson Nurse Executive Fellows program and was appointed a Academy of Healthcare Executives Fellow. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, PA State Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and American Organization of Nurse Executives and has served on the board of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders. She also serves on the Immaculata University MSN Advisory Board, the LaSalle Nursing and Allied Professionals Board, the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau Nursing Leadership Committee and the Gift of Life Program’s Medical Advisory & Policy Board.
