Ric is the Vice President & Chief Nurse Executive at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he is responsible for system nursing practice. Prior to this, Ric served as a nursing executive – operations management in the performance management and innovation departmentat Tenet Healthcare Corporation. Prior to that, Ric served as senior vice president and chief nursing executive at the Jackson Health System in Miami, Fl. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Ric initially specialized in critical care nursing and held clinical staff and management positions in both Montreal and Ottawa. He immigrated to South Florida in 1990.

Ric completed a diploma of collegial studies in nursing from John Abbott College in Montreal and a bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Canada. He holds a master of science in nursing from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida and a doctorate in adult education and human resource development with a minor in advanced nursing administration from Florida International University. Ric is board certified as an Advanced Nurse Executive by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and also board certified in perioperative nursing by the competency and credentialing institute. In 2009, Ric was certified as a six sigma black belt. Ric is a member of the AORN Journal editorial board and also a member of several professional organizations including the American Nurses Association, and the American Organization of Nurse Executives. He is also a former member of the national board of directors for the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses.
